We are not a big box store. We are not a franchise. We are a small operation on a lake in Southwest Michigan that has been doing this for 25 years because we love it.

Bill Boston grew up in The Sister Lakes. Every summer from the time he was four years old he was on the water. He learned to ski, competed in waterskiing and wakeboarding, and eventually reached semi-professional ranks. In 1999 he looked around Sister Lakes, saw that nobody was selling real watersports gear or teaching people how to actually ride, and opened The Boarder Line.

Twenty five years later it is still him, still on the same lake, still coaching the same way. The shop has grown into a full Nautique and Barletta dealership with a structured coaching program, indoor heated storage, and a team that cares about the same things he does. But the reason it exists has never changed. Get people on the water and teach them right.

We only sell what we use. We only recommend what we believe in. If we would not put our own family in it we will not sell it to you.
